Backpack!

For the past 2.5 years, I've had dreams of Dave and me carrying our little one around in a backpack as we hike on the trails around our house, walk down into town for dinner, or to go to my mom's house... My long time, childhood friend, Janelle, who has two boys and manages to take them on all of her and her husband's outdoor adventures (which is what we hope to do with Little Bee) , turned me on to the Sherpani baby carrier right after we moved back to Colorado and I've wanted one ever since!

Well, this past weekend we came several steps closer to that dream becoming a reality... We went camping with our dear friends Kelly and Joe. While sitting around the morning campfire enjoying some blueberry pancakes, they surprised us with our very own Sherpani baby carrier! They just happen to have a 17 month old who rides in one at least once a day and was up for being my test rider.

Coen was so patient while I figured out how to adjust all the straps.

Later that morning we went for another spin and he decided to take a little rest under the sun shade.

Thanks Joe, Kelly, and Coen for our awesome present! We LOVE it and can't wait until Little Bee can go for a ride!
