On Thursday we got a developmental update and several new pictures of our little guy; we have a crawler on our hands!!! Tears of joy streamed down my face when we got the news... maybe a few tears of fear too. This means our house need to be child proofed before we leave for Ethiopia and we're going to have a mobile baby on the 30+ hour trip home! Let the games begin!
Here he is up on all fours... I wonder if he's using his elbows to crawl, or just posing for the camera?
Isn't that face irresistible?!?! I love how he's grabbing the other babies hand...
As my mom said, "He's a little mini crawler!" According to our new developmental report, he's 15.6 pounds and 26.6 inches long... Just a tiny little guy, but crawling nonetheless...
HE is so cute! That's great that he's crawling!
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was: uh oh, I need to move "child proofing the house" up on the list of priorities!!! It's so cool that he's mobile, it shows he's right on schedule, even if he's a little on the small side :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I can only imagine how you must be feeling. So exciting...and scary!
ReplyDeleteI love him so much. Sure you don't want to stop in Dayton for a sleep over on your way home? :) So exciting!! He is such a HAM! Don't worry about his weight...Lucas has always paved his own little road below the "chart" and he's rockin!
ReplyDeleteLove you always.

ah fun!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI was just catching up on emails and read in a message from Kellie Mox-Richards that you were adopting a baby from Ethiopia soon. It was great to read your blog and see the photos so far. You look so excited. My friend from high school adopted a baby boy named Bereket from Ethiopia last summer. She lives in WI. Good luck with everything. I'll be thinking about you! What wonderful expectancy during this holiday season and New Year!! Take care,

He has the cutest eyes! That is awesome that he is crawling!! I love the second picture too..how sweet is that!! Abbey just turned one and she weighed in at 16 pounds at her appointment. Good luck on your travels with a mobile one..you'll do great..just bring some earplugs for the other passengers (we actually did that when we flew overseas with Rhyan)!! Take Care & Congratulations ~ Jody Collins Neary
